Amazon is gearing up to hire 7,000 new workers in 13 states. Geekwire says the world's largest online retailer has more than tripled its workforce in the last three years but ... it’s not enough! Amazon will beef up its warehouse and customer service staff even more by adding 5,000 full-time workers (that’s a 25 percent increase) at distribution centers in Arizona, Delaware, California, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, S.Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia - and 2,000 full-time, part-time, seasonal and work-from-home customer service jobs in Kentucky, N. Dakota, W. Virginia, Arizona, Oregon and  -yay! – Kennewick, WA. News of the hiring spree comes two days before President Obama is scheduled to visit an Amazon warehouse in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Speaking of sprees, holiday shopping on Amazon: speedier than ever this year?
