Sen. Bernie Sanders will be announcing his candidacy for president on Thursday, according to sources at VPR News. Sanders, the longest-serving independent Congressman, will base his platform on a firm stance against large corporations that, he says, are causing the decay of the middle class. The Senator will be running for the Democratic nomination, which isn't surprising since he already caucuses with Democratic party anyway. We'll find out Thursday if VPR's source was accurate.
