Starting this Friday and running for a week until February 6, the downtown Century Link Field Event Center will host the 69th annual Seattle Boat Show. The show is expected to bring in around 1,000 boats of all sizes, collectively worth $40 million. Some 130 of the boats will also be shown off in their, shall we say, natural environment on the water at South Lake Union’s Chandler’s Cove. Some 430 exhibitors will take part. The most expensive ship, if you’re curious, is 90 feet long and will go for $6.25 million. The show will also feature advanced classes and over 200 free seminars.
