            <p>That severed fiber-optic line in South Lake Union that sent 30,000 Comcast customers <em>off-line</em> on Thursday has been repaired. The widespread service blackout, which included some 911 service, ended at about 7 p.m. last night for 90 percent of the affected (and angry) customers, <a href="http://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/comcast-service-restored-to-thousands-of-seattle-area-customers/?ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">according to <em>The Seattle Times</em></a>.</p><p>"The outage," noted <em>The Times</em>, "benefited at least one Capitol Hill business, though: Porchlight Coffee had an increase in customers who wanted to use the coffee shop’s Internet, provided by CenturyLink, according to barista Nikki Buckley."</p>
