The Crosscut Ideas Festival is a celebration of big ideas and a gathering for bold thinkers. Newsmakers, changemakers and innovators come together to take a fresh look at the biggest issues of our time. Over one week, the Crosscut Ideas Festival hosts fireside conversations and panels, meetups, art installations, workshops, and interactive experiences.

The Headliners Gala is a celebration of the best of the Northwest’s community and culture and a benefit to support Cascade Public Media, the organization behind KCTS9 and Crosscut! Join us for a culinary tour of the Northwest, a keynote speech from Michael Barbaro, a one-of-a-kind PBS and Northwest-themed auction, plus live local music and more.

Join KCTS9 and Crosscut for a screening of the new documentary series, Refuge After War, followed by a discussion with the filmmaker, Thanh Tan, and key characters. The evening will also include the official unveiling of a new docuseries initiative from Cascade Public Media, Crosscut Origins.
