            <p>Seattle City Council's Energy Committee will take up a hot potato this morning: municipal broadband. The 9:30  a.m. meeting will look at the feasibility of the city operating its own network, something <a href="http://crosscut.com/2015/06/following-setbacks-grassroot-group-urges-action-on-municipal-broadband/?ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">a recent report </a>to the mayor's office questioned. Members of Upgrade Seattle, which advocates for a public network, will present <a href="http://Upgrade Seattle Feasibility Report Analysis.pdf">their own paper </a>analysing the feasibility report. Committee Chair Kshama Sawant, a supporter of municipal broadband, this morning told Q13 Fox News that the meeting will also talk about what she said would be furious opposition from Comcast, the main provider, to a city initiative.</p>
