  • Raised and educated in California, I received my PhD in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley. Have taught in the Political Science Department at Seattle University since 1988. Publish on military intervention, refugees, international aid, and global governance. Have served as chair of my department, president of the Academic Assembly, and interim dean of my college. Was Wismer Chair of Gender and Diversity from 2009-2011.
