Seattle non-profit Solid Ground has opened Brettler Family Place for 52 families.

Sustainable, energy-efficient urban housing that’s affordable? Solid Ground, a nonprofit dedicated to building community to end poverty, thought it sounded like a good idea. This week, the nonprofit opened Brettler Family Place on the site of the former Sand Point Navy base at Magnuson Park in Seattle. Fifty-two families are moving in.
