            <p>The Daily Troll will be happily hibernating for the holidays, settling in for a long winter's nap. Well, not that long actually. We're off duty from Wednesday, Dec. 24 through January 1. We'll be back, all chipper and well-rested and ready to Troll on Jan. 2. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season. Here's a holiday chuckle for the road: <a href="http://www.npr.org/player/v2/mediaPlayer.html?action=1&t=1&islist=false&id=144136439&m=144173362&ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">David Sedaris's essay about his job as Crumpet</a>, a Macy's Department Store elf is a holiday classic that we never tire of hearing. National Public Radio broadcasts this treasure every year. Sedaris's rendition of Away in a Manger, sung "the way Billy Holiday might have sang it" is hysterical. Really, you'll wet your pants.</p>
