
Unlike Jeb Bush, Hillary Clinton has made no secret of her campaign. And for a long time she has been not only the presumed Democratic nominee but the only Dem in the race. Now that several others have declared, says The Washington Post, Clinton’s poll numbers are softening, and her opponents are pouncing. Latest to enter is Lincoln Chaffee, former Rhode Island governor and senator, who launched his campaign Wednesday with attacks on Clinton’s “hawkish foreign policy record,” as the Post describes it.
