David Rind
David Rind is an Ambie Award-nominated reporter and producer for CNN Audio based in New York City. He hosts CNN Audio’s One Thing podcast. On One Thing, Rind highlights the best of CNN reporting each week through intimate conversations with fellow CNN correspondents and reporters. Rind worked at ABC News for nearly a decade, developing and launching its first daily news podcast, Start Here, which won an Edward R. Murrow Award in 2019. In 2012 he spent a summer as the radio play-by-play announcer for the Brooklyn Cyclones. Rind, a graduate of Seton Hall University, is based in New York City.

The Cascade PBS Ideas Festival brings together journalists, newsmakers, and innovators from around the country to talk about the issues that are animating our cultural conversations. The festival includes live recordings of television and podcasts from The Atlantic, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Slate, Pushkin, NPR and PBS; as well as community meetups, meet-and-greets, food trucks, DJs, and more.
