Inslee unveils budget

Gov. Jay Inslee unveiled his proposed budget for the 2015-17 biennium, calling for a 7 percent tax on some capital gains amounting to more than $25,000 per person to help boost education, improve social services and fund state parks. Republicans questioned the need for new taxes when state revenues are growing. Crosscut's John Stang has a full report here.
