And E. coli, again!? Just past noon today, Mercer Island issued another boil advisory for the water. The Seattle Times reports there have been no confirmed cases of illness yet. All restaurants have been ordered to close again. And as of 1:30 p.m., Mercer Island Schools say they are anticipating a normal school day for tomorrow. The district says that, even before the latest alert, it had already prepared to get along without tap water if need be for the rest of the week. — T.W.
