O'Toole expands review of SPD overtime spending

In the wake of a recent report on overtime spending by the Office of Professional Accountability (OPA), Seattle Police Chief Kathleen O'Toole asked the Office of the City Auditor to review the overtime spending in SPD's Education and Training Section. On Friday, after Crosscut reported that SPD spent $22 million on OT in 2013, the chief expanded her request to include a review of all overtime spending in 2013 and 2014. — M.B.
