With the Aug. 6 primary less than two months away, the ins and the outs of campaign bank accounts are becoming more important.

Money isn't everything, as the withdrawal of early fund-raising leader Tim Burgess from the mayor's race demonstrated. But candidates for Seattle mayor certainly want it. New campaign finance reports show that Sen. Ed Murray did particularly well in May, but incumbent Mike McGinn still had the most dollars in the bank at the end of last month. City Councilmember Bruce Harrell is doing well at both raising donations and keeping money in reserve for the upcoming August primary. Check back for regular updates to the mayoral War Chest chart.
