With a significant increase in crude oil being transported by train, some lawmakers are asking whether it makes sense to build an oil pipeline across Washington state.

  • "Yes, it's realistic," says state Sen. Michael Baumgartner, R-Spokane, who is proposing a $250,000 study to look at safety and feasibility of building a pipeline to transport oil to refineries on the Washington coast.
