This number comes after Gallup conducted more than 370,000 interviews across the country asking respondents "Do you, personally, identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender?"</p><p>What cities beat out Seattle for having a higher proportion of LGBT residents? San Francisco tops the list, followed by Portland, Austin and New Orleans. Interestingly, Salt Lake City also ranks in the top 10 as a regional LGBT center.</p>
