Seattle suing Monsanto over cancer-causing pollutants

The city of Seattle is filing a federal lawsuit against Monsanto over pollution of the Duwamish river and city drainage pipes with carcinogenic chemicals. The city's complaint, filed Monday, alleges that Monsanto knew about the dangers of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and their harm to people's health and the environment, but continued to sell them for years.
