            <p>A <a href="http://www.sightline.org/research/the-northwests-pipeline-on-rails/?ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">new report</a> from the Sightline Institute, an environmentally oriented nonprofit, says the Pacific Northwest could see 100 trains carrying oil to refineries and ports in Washington and Oregon.  Some of the proposals for receiving oil by train, including <a href="http://crosscut.com/2015/06/energy-decisions-loom-over-the-columbia-river/?ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">a major one at Longview </a>on the Columbia River, are still on the drawing boards or under review.
