Multiple news sources say a deal reached in Congress for highway funding also envisions reauthorization of the bank. Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell have held a series of events across the state featuring companies helped by the bank. Murray cautions that the deal isn't done yet, but Connelly says that she credits small businesses for making their voices heard in the face of Tea Party-oriented attempts to kill the bank.</p>
