The City of Seattle is hoping to engage community members in focus groups to help guide the implementation of one of the most talked about — and written about — subjects in municipal government: the Housing Affordability and Livability Agenda (HALA).

Anyone interested should fill out an application on the city's website by the general deadline of Friday, Feb. 26, or the non-English speaker deadline of Friday, March 11. Applications are available in English, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Chinese, and Vietnamese.

In an effort to encourage participation from as many citizens as possible, the city is providing various supports for those interested, including child care, transportation, translation, interpretation, and a small stipend for low-income participants.

For more information, email HALAapplication@Seattle.gov.
