The Seattle Times reports that assistant football coaches at Bellevue High School appear to have repeatedly violated rules against recruitment of students. Head Coach Butch Goncharoff tells The Times that he and his staff know the rules and have carefully followed them. Bellevue is in the Class 3A state championship this weekend, when — as The Times notes — it could win its 12th championship in the past 16 years.
