A formal complaint against Scott Kubly, the head of the Seattle Department of Transportation, has led to the hiring of an outside investigator, KING 5 reports. The complaint is related to the Pronto bikeshare system, which the city is buying out. But officials won't say what the focus of the investigation is. Kubly had been president of Pronto's parent company before being picked by Mayor Ed Murray as SDOT's director.
Former King County prosecutor Marilyn Brenneman, who is conducting the investigation, tells KING that she is taking her time to ensure the examination is "thorough and fair."
