            <p>Bellevue police this morning relaunched bike patrols for the first time since 2011. The <a href="http://www.ci.bellevue.wa.us/12263.htm?ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">city said in an announcement</a> that three officers will be part of the patrol for now, with two more joining later this year (hopefully in as good weather as their colleagues enjoyed today). Police Chief Steve Mylett said the patrols will be helpful in Bellevue's downtown, which is becoming an increasingly popular place to live, as well as in parks and along trails.
