Over the last several years, WSDOT has been adding 17 miles of express toll lanes along I-405 in order to alleviate morning and afternoon congestion, and now those lanes are set to open. To prepare for the opening next month, WSDOT has launched a website detailing what the new roadway will look like (signs, entry / exit points, etc.). The toll rates will be based on traffic conditions and can either be paid for with Good To Go! passes or by mail. Dig around that website to find rates, payment options, HOV changes, and more; although the website currently has a map, they should have an interactive map set up by next week.
