Ryanair, Ltd. just made Boeing's day. Europe’s “leading low-cost carrier” will indeed be ordering up to 200 of Boeing's 737 MAX planes. On Amazon. Just kidding. Ryanair doesn’t even have an Amazon Prime account. Kidding again. Seriously, though, Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary said he felt “like a child unwrapping a Christmas present and getting just what he’d ask for.” Glad Boeing made all your childhood dreams come true, O’Leary. The whole transaction is valued at $22 billion, but according to The Seattle Times, the actual price to Ryanair — thanks Boeing's big order discounts — is probably more like $11 billion. If you’re ordering planes soon, make it 200.
