            <p><br>In response to a recent <a href="http://q13fox.com/2014/02/28/woman-says-2-strangers-raped-her-in-capitol-hill-alley/?ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">rape</a> and an <a href="http://www.thestranger.com/seattle/drag-performer-ade-connere-attacked/Content?oid=19013552&ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">attack</a> on a drag performer, a group called <a href="https://www.facebook.com/OWPatrol">OutWatch</a> has decided to organize late night street patrols in Capitol Hill. The patrols will run between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. Patrol members, some of whom have self-defense training, will provide late night escorts or car rides. Jennifer Dietrich, owner of Dr. Jen’s House of Beauty in Capitol Hill, helped organize the group. A similar group called the Q-Patrol formed in 1991 in response to several gay bashing incidents.</p>
