The suspects fled. An officer responding to the call gave chase, firing at the suspects and hitting both. In a press conference today, Olympia police Chief Ronnie Roberts said that neither of the two suspects was armed, but one of them is accused of attacking the officer with a skateboard before the officer fired on him. One suspect is in stable condition at Tacoma General Hospital; the other is in critical condition at Olympia's Providence St. Peter Hospital.</p>
