            <p>The state Transportation budget includes a surprise: $5.5 million for King County Metro to expand bike sharing to the Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond and Issaquah, <a href="http://seattletransitblog.com/2015/07/10/bike-sharing-is-likely-coming-to-the-eastside/?ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">according to the Seattle Transit Blog</a>.  Guest writer Jason Shindler says the expansion might well be handled by Pronto, which has launched the first phase of service in Seattle. Working from a King County Metro business plan, Shindler developed a map with suggestions for possible locations in Bellevue. Noting the importance of density for a sharing service, he says, "The only oddball is Issaquah."</p>
