            <p>Beat, no <em>humbled</em> the Green Bay Packers, 36–16, in Thursday’s season opener. Yay. Someday, maybe “<a href="http://mynorthwest.com/129/2602190/Seahawks-fans-celebrate-the-start-of-a-new-season?ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">tens of thousands</a>” of Seattleites will get riled up over something other than football. Until then, here's <a href="http://www.kplu.org/post/seahawks-dominate-packers-36-16-win-start-season-strong?ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">Art Thiel’s take on the Hawk's domination</a>: “They delivered a football game on national television that had to scare everybody else in the NFL. Not to say…that everything was perfect, but…they seem to have gotten a little bit better than they were last year.” Perhaps the most interesting update from this week of football was the <a href="http://www.king5.com/story/sports/nfl/seahawks/2014/09/03/undercover-police-officers-packers-jerseys/15029733/?ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">news</a> that "undercover law enforcement officers will be outfitted in opposing team jerseys for all Seahawks home games this season." Hawks fans had better behave.</p>
