Former firefighter Scott Bullene, who was fired last August after being charged with assaulting several homeless men, has lost the support of the Seattle Fire Fighters union. Bullene was acquitted of those charges. But a later incident in which he allegedly assaulted a cab driver and stole his phone has prompted the union to drop a grievance appealing his termination. "I believe we will establish that the taxi driver was the aggressor,” said David Allen, Bullene's attorney. Even so, Paul Olsen from the Seattle City Attorney's Office is guessing that this is “most likely the end of the road for Mr. Bullene," in terms of trying to get his job back.
