            <p>ABC News reports that United Parcel Service has agreed to settle a <a href="http://abcnews.go.com/Business/wireStory/ups-settles-complaint-short-changed-government-customers-31148060?ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">lawsuit</a> brought against it by a former UPS driver, who claimed that the company falsified records to cover up late deliveries, many of them to the federal government. UPS will pay $25 million to the U.S. Justice Department and $740,000 to the state of New Jersey. Settlement notwithstanding, a company spokesperson says UPS disputes the claims.</p>
