Viaduct cracks

The Washington State Department of Transportation reported today that the Alaskan Way Viaduct has developed new cracks and that some older cracks have widened. Though the agency said the viaduct is still safe for driving, it will be closed Saturday, March 22 for further tests on the structure and to install monitoring equipment.
