United and other airlines are now offering high-end reading for their business and first class customers - only. The New York Times reports that United's glossy in-flight magazine Rhapsody features fiction and travel essays from an elite group of literary authors, including Joyce Carol Oates, Rick Moody, Amy Bloom and this year's Pulitzer Prize winner Anthony Doerr. Alas, the content will not trickle down. Rhapsody is only available to those monied fliers.
